Some Nice Variety From Florida

[cambria09]

Howdy All. I hunted an empty city lot that had three circa 1920's houses on it, all long gone now and my silver drought is finally over! Dug a nice variety at this site in the last week including:

Over (100) clad coins
Old plumbing parts
Knobs, keys, lighter, and misc hardware
Odd Aluminum Flower
"Merry Christmas" label off what??
"Extra Silver Plate" Spoon
Compact Lids
"The E Ingramam Company" pocket watch
"Mr James Roland Reeby" reverse printed plate...maybe for a a rubber stamp??
Made in Hong King Billy the Kid toy
Sterling ring with a red stone setting
My first watch fob!!! I found some like it on the internet but I cannot date it...any ideas on this one?
1919, '44, '44D, '45, '46, and '51 wheaties
1944D war nickel (35% silver)
1947 and '56D silver Rosies
1944 silver Washington quarter

I have hunted this site (10) times or so and it continues to produce nice finds, mostly from the 1920's to 1950's.

Thanks for tuning in and may the finds be with you!

Nice finds!

Really nice set of finds. I really like the ring, the fob, and the reverse printed plate...BTW it says "Mr James Roland Reedy" not "Reeby" (I made the same mistake when I first read it )

Hello Eric in NJ. Thanks for the reply, the like, and the correction. Using "Reedy" will likely help me figure out who this guy was or is. C9

Nice lot of finds, were abouts in Florida? I live NW Florida

Good stuff man , I really like the ring - wonder what the stone is ? It has a ruby -ish look , but ruby is so much harder than any of the
would be abrasives , no way it would lose its luster to beach sand - I guess it could be some variety of garnet , or glass ?

Hello Bayou Joe. Thanks for the reply. I live in Central Fl not far from Orlando. How is the huntin' in the panhandle? Looks like there might be some good opp's near Milton.
