Some of last year's finds and some for this year.

Time to post last year's finds and some for this year. My fields this year were left in a perfect state for hunting. Last week I found 3 broken bannerstones. Which stinks but hopefully another whole one can be found. Well enjoy.... Always nice when a field gets to that perfect hunting state. Nice finds, good luck finding an unbroken bannerstone.

Nice triangles

You've found some nice artifacts. Thanks for sharing.

Good to see you been finding some things! Nice things!

Good to see you posting again too!

Thanks all for the compliments.....Quito finally getting out again after a long sabbatical. Hope all is well for you. Americus I'm glad I could give you some eye candy after seeing so many of your finds. Keep them coming my friends......I have a lot more to post and will try and get to it tomorrow.........Chris(GTP)

First photo I believe is a paleo triangle. My one field yields alot of paleo to early archaic points. Still have yet to find a Clovis however I did find a Northumberland fluted knife and wish I could show it bit that was a item stolen with my collection years ago and the main reason I quit hunting for so long. Cannot cry over that loss so I decided last year to change that by hunting again. That loss took it all from me even my love for the hunt but I got it back!! Just wish they would go deeper in to the soil when they plow.

Sad to hear you got ripped off, I'd be wanting to shoot someone, but happy to see your back at it and finding some nice stuff, good luck out there!

Nice Finds! That first one, is it basalt or slate?

Slate....hardly ever find them this whole. Due to material they commonly snapped on impact with a harder surface.

Nice stuff. Are you in northern or southern part of the state? Seems to be slim pickings in the Philly area... I started hunting about a month ago. I did find a number of points, but most stuff is broken. I have tried many locations but only one spot ever produces for me!
