My son is a river runner in the Grand Canyon and gets to enjoy some great scenery. Here are a few pictures he sent me. Thr first one is a phenomenom called blue fog. The second is a bighorn sheep taken from about 30 feet. He was moving through a slow part of the river when he saw the ram. The third is a picture from the rim of the canyon. And the last is a self portrait with a hitch-hiker.

Great photos...the ram is awesome. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful. But that doesn't look like what I picture southwest Georgia looking like.

Great pics all of them I would love to go to the Grand Canyon sometime ! Thank you for sharing !

Great photos. Love the one with the ram. That is a real quality shot. That would be a great adventure to
cruise through the Grand Canyon. We saw it from 3 or 4 places up on the South rim in Arizona a few years
ago. The view is so awesome I could watch it for hours. Thanks for sharing.

They are all awesome pictures....that fog is really cool looking. It's a dream of mine to make it out there one day. Thanks for sharing.

Really great pics. The ram pic would make a great painting or drawing. I may have to try it sometime. :icon_thumleft:

Outstanding photos, my wife & Daughter made it out a couple of years ago, i've gotta go too. :icon_sunny:

Thanks for all the compliments. My son is in the canyon from April through September taking folks down the Colorado. My wife and I visited there a few years ago but didn't get to run the river. We hope to do that soon. I have more pictures that I can share if Y'all are interested.

That's one mighty fine perching hat ;D

Really nice shots, all of them. The colors , perspective , and composition of the ram picture are stunning I think.
