I checked out two new spots today. At the first one my first signal was a Indian head cent. Which I managed to lose somewhere before I got home.:sad7::sad7:: . At the next spot I did a little exploring and found a few cellar holes, which I didn't know about. The pictures above were the first signal I got by the first cellar hole I found. Its made of brass and I think there was glass on the back. Notice the tabs bent over on the back that probably held in the glass or something at one time. Anyone know what it is and the age?

Part of a web belt buckel. adj latch.

I think it is a suspender buckle that is missing some components including the (glass) insert. I think they were a dressier suspender not meant for work. I could guess the buckle to be early 1900's to 1940's
i found a decorative piece that was clothing related to had a insert of moonstone from 1912, just another suggestion other than glass. Cool find
