I have been garage saling. I found this cute folding box patent dated 1839, for $2.00.

I was tickled and was at my daughter’s showing her all my buys. She sees this box and says,” I think we have one of those.” She gets it out and her’s has all these pieces in it. What is it?

Alright! Thank you all for the help. I guessed it might be related to sewing machine because I recognized a couple parts, but mostly I was clueless. I can see it being 1889 . My eyes aren’t the best anymore. Thanks again!
