Some type of bullet?

Found this in the same field as the mystery "E" button. It mic'd out at .450 across the base, but looks odd to be a bullet. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

It's almost completely cylindrical, and the "tip" where its mushroomed a little has a little hollow in it.
