This was found in the yard of a 100 year old house adjacent to a set of R.R.tracks about 100 yards away. This house sets in the woods in a rural part of highland county Florida. It's magnetic, looks like lava rock only metallic. There are several spots on it that are "smoothed out" and shiny,it looks wet or like there is oil on it in these"shiny"spots. It's approx. 3 inches by 1and1/2 inches and weighs 6 and1/2 ozs.It registers iron and there are many fissures throughout it.So what is it,just a piece of iron slag? ??? :-\
