I cant see it being used for castrating but I have been wrong before. We always use a pocket knife. That being as big as it is would be cumbersome to use and be in my way. I wonder could it be used working with leather?..d2
I think Lafitte maybe on to something. I went and checked the livestock tool i stated yesterday about and its nothing similar. It does look like some sort of old agriculture cultivation tool to me as well. Tobacco or even maybe some other sort of fruit maybe. the grip edges are in front of the cutting blade which tells me that part was to hold onto the plant and the blade in the back cuts it loose. very interesting find.
