Someone got my halfs

I got off work today at 9a.m. I went to the bank that agree to order me some halfs. When I went in and asked for my 2 boxes the teller told me that someone picked them up yesterday. I asked her who. She didn't know. She told that she remember me saying that I would pick them up on Friday but figure I came in a day early. She told me she was really sorry. I said I guess there is someone else doing the same thing. She said all they had was $470 in half I said I would take them. Plus got a box of dimes.
She took my name and told me that she would order me boxes again and that she would make sure that he dose not get them again. So now I will have to wait another week to get halfs from this bank. The halfs and dimes that I did get was all a skunk. So no silver so far for today.....Matt

I'd be really mad!

My bank "forgot" to oder my half dollars which I ordered 3 weeks ago but they finally told me they ordered them... go figure!
Hopefully I get 2 boxes of halves later on this upcoming week.

I only have 1 bank which I order halves from and they order for me no problem

this is my 3rd time ordering, first time for 1 box, second time for 1 box, this time for 2. They're fine with ordering and always save loose halves for me.

I order halves from a wells fargo and dump at TD Bank. TD Bank always supplies me with boxes of pennies through quarters at no charge and as long as they have enough for business customers, and they are very nice to me in there! It's nice to have a dump bank and a supply bank in the same location! Im dumping around $300 in dimes/nickels there later and I am going to try for another box of nickels, hopefully the machine is fixed as it was broken last time, and they have enough supply for nickels, if not I will get pennies and post my results.

That's happened to me before with a new bank. This time, the guy was buying $50 worth of halves, going out to the parking lot to search, turning in the rolls, and taking a fresh batch out to the parking lot. After an hour of this, the teller cut him off.

I did this to a guy lol at xmas time one way to airport stopped at banks asked for halves girl said some guy ordered a box but hasnt been there yet took whole box plus half the other and they was happy my bank wont give any halves to anyone but me so its a good relationship.

i had someone get some of a box of HALVES i ordered before i got to them, and in the rolls left, there was a proof ender, wonder if there were anymore

This happened to me on my very first box.

The head teller at one of the branches decided she wanted my halves more than I did, and took half the box. When I showed up at that branch to get the rest of my halves, each teller had a big sign up stating "We have HALF DOLLARS - just $10 per roll."

It still irks me a little...it was the only box that I've ever had that produced silver.

That branch was delighted to have halves on hand for customers. I have no idea why they don't just order boxes and keep them on hand. They sold 15 rolls in just 4 hours...and this is not a bank where the tellers search for silver.
