Something different and strange.

Found what looks like an empty grave in the woods today. This is in one of the areas I have been cutting firewood, and I know it wasn't here about a month ago. Located on a dead end logging road out in the trees off the road.
Don't know if it has been prepared to put someone in it, or if a body has been removed. Someone worked hard to dig this hole in the rocky soil and roots. Hard to tell by the pictures, but it looks like they even chiseled out the area where the head would be. I don't get why if they were trying to hide it, why the marker on the tree?

I emailed these pics to the local sheriffs department.

Thanks All for your input....The Sheriffs office dispatch said they would get the pics out to their officers. That was yesterday, and they haven't contacted me for directions, so guessing they must think it's an April Fools joke also. The hole is only about two feet deep, but that's still a lot of work digging out rocks.

I did a google search to see what AMA means. Seems the main answer for internet slang is "Ask Me Anything", and next is "Against Medical Advice". Of course it could be someones initials, or a multitude of other things.

I see they removed the article. On March 8th A guy with the initials AMA supposedly dug the grave himself, then died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
