maybe its just me or my lack of noticing it before
when i run my machine at a high disc 8(silver copper area)
i get more falsing from rusty nails
but when i run it in the tab rang (disc 4)
i get less falsing
for instance when i found 1 of 2 silver Rosie's over Christmas
i got a sweet repeatable tone tone dug it
out popped a nail in the bottom of the plug(about 7-8 inch's down)
pulled the nail checked the plug
bang silver Rosie ???
perhaps a good example of target separation with a DD coil :-\
what the poop on this guys and gals

I use very low discrimination but still get fooled by some rusted metal. Must just be the nature of the beast.

when Iron rust it is no longer iron, its an oxide of iron with totally diffrent properties

My Sovereign Does the same.

If I run it with Disc turned all the way down, I get less
falsing from Iron then when I get tired & turn it all the way up.
