alchemy 101....turning that found junk silver into pure silver globules can be fun too,and easy!all u need is some acid,a torch,pure copper & a potato.........yes,a potato & a few other things!gold is a little more difficult.directions can be found online.......wear cloves,because it's not so much fun when u spill the acid(anywhere!)

A note to anybody looking at this post - Nitric Acid Can Be Very Dangerous - Proper protective gear is a must ! Osha rated mask , and
proper ventilation are absolutely required . There are numerous methods of melting scrap at home safely Without the use of Nitric Acid,
I would suggest leaving this method to the refiners .
