LoL, I lost my wedding band while skin diving on my honeymoon in Curacao. The aquarium has an outdoor area penned in where you can handfeed rays and other fish. I had the bait belt strapped on and all these rays and fish were swarming me while I was trying to find the ring. Luckily and almost unbelieveablly it had landed between three rocks about ten feet down and I was able to retrieve it. I would have been in big trouble if I didn't find it. Makes me wonder how many other rings are down there that weren't fortunate to land like mine did.

LOL, nobody is afraid of sharks or dangerous animals. :fish: But the lady ........ !!!!! :argue: :laughing7:

The amount of rings and other jewelry lost in the water must run up in thousands, maybe millions per year World wide !!! :smileinbox:

By the way, I was wondering, has anyone of you ever found a ring or something like that by diving ??

:)

It would be nice if we had a better idea of where in the keys or how far out. Thats a lot of area to hunt.

Hi :)

According to the article, the dive was with a compagny called Captain´s Corner.
The dive was at a coral reef.
Maybe that info could help ?

Has anyone ever found a picture of the ring itself? I only found one and it is too small to see any detail.
