Sometimes you feel like a nut!

Found this at a fleamarket today. It is a gigantic nut made by design line . It was by designer Bill Curry and I believe it is a bookend. They look to sell pretty well

Wow! One sold one ebay for $323 with 10 bids. Some of his other bookends sell for $500+.

Its chrome plated steel. It's also very heavy

So let me get this straight... some designer back in the 60's took a large industrial nut, plated it and called it a bookend. And now they are worth big bucks (as far as bookends go) Nice!
