MOUNT PLEASANT - The Schuylkill County Joe Zerbey Airport hosted international visitors Tuesday afternoon as members of the Colombian army dropped in to fuel five brand-new Black Hawk helicopters on their way home from the Connecticut manufacturer.

The Colombian army bought the five S-79 Black Hawks from Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. Each aircraft costs about $20 million.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. and is based in Stratford, Conn. Founded in 1925 by aircraft engineer Igor Sikorsky, the company is a world leader in helicopter design, manufacturing and service, according to the company's website at Home.
Earlier Tuesday morning, the helicopters stopped at an airport in New Jersey as wind forced them to refuel earlier than expected. The New Jersey airport did not have enough fuel to fill all the aircrafts, however, so they landed in Schuylkill County about 1 p.m.
The Colombian troops took many pictures while at the airport as they posed in front of the helicopters and large snow piles scattered around the facility.
"It's beautiful," Sgt. John Ramirez said about the view from the helicopter.
Ramirez said it was the first time the troops traveled this far up the East Coast and the first time some of them saw snow.

Lt. Santiago Posada said Tuesday was the first day of an 11-day journey back home.
"So far, it's been great," Posada said.
As a parting gift, Willard gave the crew a case of "cerveza," or beer, from Yuengling.
