Hi Brandywine:
If your son is finding pieces like that at the age of seven, I suspect he will amass one heck of a collection by the time he is able to vote.
It is nice that you have found a field in Chester County - with the constant loss of sites through development, productive fields in that part of PA are becoming harder to find.

hi brandy ,great pic this is my first post.I am also a rookie artifact hunter. been at it about 5 months and I sure do enjoy it.My son is 8 and likes it just as much.He is pretty darn good to. I guess being short does have its advantages.We both found are 1st points the same day and have been hooked since.I have some pics also just need to figure out how to get them on computer.I am also a rookie at computers.Pretty bad when your 8 year old types faster than you.Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and practice a little typing.Enjoyed the pic. I cant believe he is actually patient enough to let u take it before he picked it up.Ill have some pics in the near future.

Nice find little guy! Kids are really good headhunters, low to the ground and they have keen eyesight when young.
