sorting out an old box of mandan pottery

john and me have a bunch of boxes of pottery we are starting to go through
these are from about 15yrs ago or more

That's something special to be able to see the maker's fingerprint's and nail marks. very nice indeed, thanks for showing.
 

I love the designs on the Pottery Shards in your area. We just don't see anything that elaborate around here.

I bet you are glad you saved it. The stuff is heavy isnt it? I think they must have held ancient art festivals on your site. Nice looking shards or is it sherds? They will look nice in a pottery frame. Thanks for sharing Mr. Larson!

Yep I have checked in the past to see if I was spelling it wrong. My auto correct says the proper spelling is "shard".

yep, it looks up as "sherd" and also lists "shard"
