time to check out soupies neck of the woods on my way down south.

a good chance to see scott again. a chance for good buddy hunting plus unusual

jan temps and my local killer motel deal. causeing me to linger a few xtra days on my journey.

50 deg in early jan. love it.

four actual hunts . first a real old site .....kinda slow on signals at first

only 1 coin was found an indian unreadabledate. twin watch fobs dated 1868

second hunt the targets were many everywhere. eagle button and miniature glass doll was found.

3rd try was jasons 1st barberdime field. late in the hunt 1865 2 center. lots of can slaw.

4th day same spot. 1895 indian, crystal white soap token [palmolive co].

copper candlestick, copper lamp or candlestick base.small corker bottle marked quality.

its fun visiting the back fields to c whats there.

scotts got all the local history and maps.he even has maps the local libraries

and historical society dont have. i was impressed.combined with his dry humor

a fun time. except etrac cuff broke.grrr..break my arm swing with a half cuff.should been metal

he tries to tell me more about the sites but im a bit overanxious and trigger happy.

anyway thanks for hosting some great hunts and putting up w/me for a few days.

brought a camera along but no cable.

so u might wanna change my handle from scrounger to nopix.

perhaps he has some pix on his phone.

congrats on your finds!
