South to Kanab Utah

I'm in Kanab Utah tonight and the best part of getting here is the drive through the region known as the Capital Reef in southern Utah. The drive runs through some very colorful country. I stopped for a bit by some petroglyphs to observe and found one of my favorite images (3rd pic) know as the deity of the Kokopelli by the peoples of the southwest Kokopelli - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Don't let this crystal-clear-cloudless-blue sky, fool ya. It was a cool brisk morning as you can see in the last picture of the irrigating of this pasture freezing as it hits the ground.

Utah is my favorite state, I love southwest Utah, more national parks in 300 mile radious than anywhere else in country.
