Found in Cobb County, Georgia today!

The color is actually very dark grayish and is chert. I believe this is a Southeastern Hardin point which would be from the early archaic period. Is this correct?

Is the base ground on the edges? can you post a photo with a size reference?

Thanks everyone. It was a first for me, for sure. I was actually gold panning and there it was, laying on a gravel bar!
