I was bored and went out and hunted my own yard today. I was mostly getting bouncy signals, digging can slaw, nails and junk. The batteries on my Garrett Ace 250 were starting to give up the ghost and I'd about had enough when I got a solid quarter signal. could it be an elusive
seated or at least a silver? I dug it and about 8" down I spotted what I thought was piece of an aluminum can that the mower had chewed up when I brushed the dirt back and found this! It says 7th Annual Banquet Southern Power Co. Piedmont and Southern Lines 1912. I tried to find one online and couldn't. There is info on the companies and I plan on doing more research. Thanks for looking!

Cool digs, I love to find items like that, they display nicely.

That is a very cool item.I like to unearth any item that has a companies name or logo on it.

Credat Judaeus apella, non ego.

Very nice old pendant. It will look great in a display case.

That's awesome!

Great find. The Southern Power Company is the forerunner of Southern Public Utilities which is now Duke Energy. It operated in the Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro and Greenville cities in the Carolinas. A restored streetcar #51 operated intro it up until a few years ago when the light rail took over the line. I used to be a motorman on the streetcar. Cool find

Very nice find. Congrats to a fellow Charlottean!
