Howdy all :hello: i have a question ? i want to use the Minelab DTI meter and the Sunray target probe on my Sov.GT since i cant find a set-up for this anywhere i am not sure what gets plugged in first from the coil , i use the S-12 coil , do i run the coil wire into the search probe first and then the search probe wire into the DTI ? and then of course the DTI wire to the GT control box ? i have tried both different ways but the numbers on the DTI seem to run all over the place its not easy to set it to 180 . I watched the Minelab video where they say to use the DTI properly i need to set the control box to run in Disc. mode not all metal . I took a few photo,s of my set up Thanks for any help i can get Jim

I'm not sure what plugs into what first, but the DTI meter only works while in discriminate mode.
If you are having trouble calibrating the meter for 180, try to just connect the meter up to the control box without the probe and see if it calibrates easier.
Maybe you are getting some interference from some source making the numbers jump around.

Coil to probe, probe to meter, meter to control box. What the switch box does is switch between your large coil and your small coil. When you hook up the big coil to the meter and the to the probe switch, you lose the benefit of having the meter work with your probe
