Spanish silver

Wasn’t expecting to find this today but I did. Spanish Reale that has been holed. There is slight detail on it. Looks like roman numeral III top left next to the hole. It’s also bigger than the 1/2 reales. Looks to be a 1 Reale. Also found a tomback button.

Roman "III" would designate Carlos III (1759-1789). Denomination can be determined by weight.
Use 27 grams for an '8'; and proportionately less for lower values.

Congratulations on the old Spanish silver. They saw a lot of use and frequently are pretty smooth.

Is there anything on the front of your button? How about a backmark? In the picture it is still covered in dirt, a picture after a little cleaning would help.
