Spear Point Found on Beach

This is maybe my first time in this forum. I might have been here once or twice, but am not sure.

Anyway, I found the pictured item, which I presume to be a spear point, on an East Coast beach in what I would call Central Florida. I was't looking for Indian artifacts but there it was.

From what I've read it might be a Newnan point? What do you think it is.

The section shown is just over two inches in length. It looks like it would run around four inches if not broken.

Thanks for any ideas or information.

Cant give ya an id but it appears to be a broken artifact, congrats on the find...
