Specimens from GFreeman's Farm
Last weekend I had the pleasure of GFreeman's company; along with his wife and grand-daughter. He brought down many specimens from his farm in Virginia. I can place a familiar feeling associated with this experience; much of that of a child in an ice-cream shop, lol. I took some photos of a few specimens which I will layout next.
This is what I believe to be a very large piece of Beryl; primarily Goshenite with some Aquamarine sections:



Here are some of the macro shots of the terminations on the same specimen. The specimen consists of tabular edges and plates terminated throughout:



Here are the macro shots of the crystal structure, pitting and fracture:
