You did real good in 3 hours! Thats a great variety of finds. I'm sure that field is still holding onto a lot of goodies. Unless the ground is too frozen to dig, I'll be out there regardless of the temp.

If that was your last one for a while, it certainly was a good one- Congrats!

Yeah, I found most of it down by the tree line in the pic, just on the other side of those trees is
a large farm foundation, behind me on the hill was a another house and barn but very loud with iron, i only found the key and a bottle up on the hill, if i switched to my shooter coil it could have maybe picked something out, This bottle was an eye ball find just sticking out from under a root near the other cellar hole, i actually was expecting it to be broken when i wiggled it out. I guess it qualifies for a "today`s find.

Wanted to get one last hunt in before the ground freezes, 38 degrees is my limit. This field usually produces
since it`s between 2 old farms, never found any military items there though. Was hoping for some colonial items
since i have found a shoe buckle there last spring. over all it was a decent day.
Very Nice!! Congrats!!

38F is a alright day if the wind isn't blowing, dressed up good it's a get out and dig weather.
Well done on the finds, that's one big bell congrats.
Bonus getting the bottle intact, a keeper for sure.

nice haul, way to brave the elements and save some history

Dang! You found all of my favorites in one hunt! Coins, Crotal bell (I still have only found a couple pieces /not a whole one) buttons, key and then you show us the bottle. Heck yea it counts as today's finds. What a way to end. But, you may have some good days yet. I see that Paines Celery compound bottle sells from $8.00 to $20.00. I am assuming yours says Paines on the other side.
Good day indeed!

Congratulations on your awesome field fiends. Love those largies and flower buttons!

Looks like you're on a great site there, very peaceful and covid-free too.
Love the crotal bell and all those coins, finding the complete early brown glass bottle was a real bonus!
