You can try replacements.com
They may be able to help with info like the pattern name, age etc.
Hope this helps.

Definintely replacements.com material.

Go to their website, click the tab that says 'silver', click the 'S' tab to find the maker. Find Sheffield under the 'S's and then click the blue 'gallery' tab to the left of the pattern names. This will take you to a page where you can see all the patterns Sheffield made and hopefully from that you can get some more info. Replacements often gives dates of production in their listings.

Here is a link on Sheffield Plate I found. I dont know if its the same as your spoon. :dontknow: It dates it from 1750-1850. http://www.oldandsold.com/articles01/article709-1.shtml

Here is another link not the exact design but places it much earlier. :icon_scratch: http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=5165425
I suspect its dates early 1900's. Thank you for the research. :icon_thumleft:
I think you are correct. My research tells me the Sheffield Plate Made In USA is electroplated unlike the Sheffield Plate of 1750-1850 made in England which was unmarked. The link I posted is the closet match I could find.

Much of Sheffield Plate is unmarked although some makers used a symbol. Some early 19thC Sheffield Plate had marks that resembled those used on sterling silver. A piece with "Sheffield Plate" stamped on it is electroplate made in Sheffield since the 19thC, rather than genuine Sheffield Plate

So your spoon is early 20th century electroplated.
