I have this spoon I dug up a few days ago and I cleaned it up a bit and was wondering what material its made from if anyone could tell from a couple pics. Thanks

YEAH. I'm so dumb not to have thought to check that. Its steel. Thanks for the assistance.

The only two spoons that rot like that are either ferrous, or pewter.

If it sticks to a magnet, it's ferrous.

If not, it probably pewter.
