Been a looooooong winter and couldn;t stand it any more so hit the beach today, was blowing but was bearable in the high 30's. Hit a spot where there was an old steamboat landing. Found an old axe head, a buckle, part of a kerosene lamp, half of a make up compact, a flat button, some kind of clasp, an old musket ball, clad quarter and a badly corroded 1864 IH. Felt good to get out finally and make some finds....C'Mon Spring!!!

Amen! Come on Spring!! Looks like you found some mighty nice stuff though! Congrats on getting out and getting some goodies! Now thaw out! ;)

Mirage...yeah the IH surprised me on how clear the date was. My eyes aren't what they used to be and thought it might be a IH when I first found it but wasn;t sure, got home and put my reading glasses on and saw it was a IH and then was shocked to see the date nice and clear....

Glad you got chance to get out ... good finds ... that IH looks like most of the one's I find ~ Jimmy
