Thought I would post some of my recent finds. Need to learn the new camera (and how to post)...hope this works.

Draped bust large cent 1796-1807. She has seen better days. Almost tossed it, thought it was a slug.

IH 1863. Nice green color out of the ground. Nice patina once I got home.

German phenning, found two the same date.

Canadian nickel, only posted since it is so clean

Found the "M" which looks like it fell out of a ring. Just started detecting last year, never thought I would break the 1900's. Good luck out there

Re: Spring finds

Wow! Where did you dig the large cent? That's an oldie! Nice finds.

Thanks for the replies!

Just a side note, it is interesting what can be found trying different coils. I picked a up a 6x10 DD and went back over the area I found the IH. I found the IH with the stock 9.5 concentric. I had scoured that area good being it was only a 10'x10'. I found a clad 50 cent piece with the DD not three feet from the IH spot the next weekend. I think it was on edge. Thinking I should go back over some spots I tried last year. (or maybe I just need to slow down a bit )
