I was really surprised at the condition of the V myself considering the entire area was once covered in concrete, when I was there the guy that did the demolition/excavating happened to pull up and we talked for a while, he kinda told me the lay of everything that was there and the V just happened to be in a very sandy area and everything else was right with shards of concrete and re-rod. I just happened upon this site when returning from another site on the 18th and the owner was there and my brother and I asked for permission and he said dig away. We were pretty much done for that day and then since then it's been raining but yesterday I just said to heck with it and headed for the spot with the windshield wipers going strong on my truck but by the time I got there luckily the rain had slowed way down so hopefully it won't be as bad today cause I wanna hit that spot again.postalgriff said:that V nickel looks pretty good, ya never know hittin those spots, I hit quite a few construction areas last year and had pretty good success, my first 1800's IH was under torn up concrete. I found a 1907 IH laying right on top of the dirt. tis the season to be looking, good luck and HH
