With the lack of snow and early melt in Minnesota, artifact hunting started early this year. Here is a group of 8 artifacts I found detecting in March. Notice the silver on the conical point second from the bottom of the photo. Two other artifacts with silver follow, a point with silver on one side of the socket and a squared worked piece about 3/8" thick. I have almost 100 artifacts with silver in my collection, mostly found in the U.P. and northern Wisconsin.
