Springs site

[Up-North]

I made it back to my springs site this afternoon.came home with one in the pocket.
3 1/8” with some serious creek stain. This ones missing the very bottom of the base.
I am uncertain as to its type.

Nice ! Looks like good white chert in the creek near it. Water must be pretty cold. !

That may be intentional.

Yep. Just made that way with no attempt to knife edge the base.

I would grub every bit of that gravel. I'm pretty sure I see two more worked rocks just in that pic.

I agree concerning the base is likely intentional formed like that.
