Welcome to tnet. Nice. Is that your work?
Hi thank you. No it’s not my work. My father collected so many things and he died. I’m not sure what is important to save, and what can be given away or left to an estate cleaning company. He also has old window frames in stained glass that he has hanging decoratively.

Sorry to hear about your dad. This stained glass is gorgeous. I personally love stained glass (AND BIRDS!) Let me take a quick look and see if I can find anything about these, since I am also an amateur. As always, it would be helpful if there are any markings on them (hallmarks, imprints, stickers).

I couldn't find anything on the first two items, though stained glass is often quite easy to sell (in my view) and pretty and will fetch an ok amount. They could have been sold by local artisans at craft fairs, if that's the kind of thing your dad was into.

The cat is made by River of Goods with a rough value of $80US. River of Goods also seems to sell some bird stained glass and some book themed, but none that matches the above design that I could find. I'd imagine the bird and book would go for slightly more being bigger, depending on damage.

The square piece also seems to be a River of Goods piece , Going for $168 Canadian. Which lends credence to the other pieces also possibly being River of Goods. The last item I also could not find info on.

Wow I appreciate your skill in locating these origins!! And the perspective that people like to buy it. I find it all so beautiful but my house is small. My dad has sooo many things but I don’t live near and can only go every few weeks to look into more detail. The insight here is so appreciated on these items.

You're welcome, I'm always curious about stuff! Maybe it's just me, but stained glass is still selling (although often custom Etsy pieces in video game shapes because my generation are nerds!). It really is lovely, but totally understandable, when a loved one passes it can be hard to pick and choose. You should take what brings you memories or what you love and pass the rest on to someone who will also love it!
