I collected stamps as a kid back in the early 60's, but all my collection got gone through the years. About 10 years ago I picked up a 1930 Scott Jr. Worldwide album, and started again, just collecting the years covered by the album. I have had a blast! It is a great hobby for those rainy winter days, and I've found a few better valued stamps going through big lots I acquired. I think it is a hobby that is dieing out here in the states, but remains popular in the rest of the world. Kids here don't seem interested in such a slow paced hobby when they have Ninetendos and such, but a few of us still enjoy it.
