Found this piece in a farm field. It is heavy and possibly lead. On the back looks like the letter P. Thanks in advance.

That is one strange find and interesting. Hope someone can ID. Congrats.

I wanna say it was probably used for scale calibration. That is why there is a mark and initials. Kinda like making it counterfeit proof. Just a guess though.
