Yesterday's after work hunt was successful. The Standing Liberty Quarter is almost worn slick (but I think she's purty). A Rosie, a silver plated spoon, 1 wheatie, 1 MO tax token, 2 keys, 1 hem weight, 1 button, 1 buckle and 30 cents clad. Thanks for peeking and HH.

It appears the OP's coin may be Type 1. (1916)

The Variety 1 Standing Liberty has hair at the back of the head that comes to a point. The Variety 2 has hair at the back of the head that is more rounded and points downward. Yours has the pointed hair which makes it a Variety 1 1916 or 1917. Nice find.
