Found earlier this week on family property in North Carolina. It has a polished bit and a pecked groove fully around the axe or celt. Would you consider it a axe or celt?

Pretty cool find. At one time they were going from ax to Celt and I’m guess that’s the conversion model 😃

Looks like a full groove axe to me.
Nice bit polish. Many peck marks evident on the body and in the groove.
Nice find for sure.
