Star Garnet

I have a 2.2 ounce golf ball sized star garnet. Was wondering if anyone knows someone who cuts / handles these to make something nice out of. I'm in Oregon

Do you have a local Rock and Mineral Club near you?

Here in Las Vegas, we have the Southern Nevada Gem & Mineral Society, where you can learn how to make different things out of rocks and minerals including making jewelry, metalsmithing, etc.
