I found this star couple weeks ago next to old farm house in Trappe, MD.
IT is about 2 1/4in. in diameter.I have no idea what this is. Would really appreciate if someone
tells me what it is.

Looks like an emblem of some type but to/for what - I have no clue -

With the 3 tabs on the back, I'm wondering if it could be the facial part of a clock pendulum? Neat find, Breezie

Looks like a decorative piece that could have been next to a Sun dial, i have dug similar pieces like this too. Looks to be mid 19th century, maybe Breezie or someone else can make a 100% ID for yah.. Great find
