Striper fishing has been spotty this year,I guess it's like MDin,persistence and patience.

I'd say 90 % of the time you see a bird here it's one of these critters.

This is a pile of brush they cut away,I see it coming..some where down the line someone will torch it,as dry as it is it'll explode.:laughing7:

Headed back home to the Meadows to MD for a bit, halfway across the field I spy this Eagle perched on a limb pretty close to the nest..CRAP left my camera in the truck about 300 meters behind me,I'll chance it,left my under ground eyes and walked back to the truck.

Walking back I noticed it was back to me,I kept walking and looking not realizing it was watching these critters,I was looking at it and didn't see them..till about a 100 ft. away.

DF was even less then petro for a time here. Ain't gonna play fishhead. There when I was in California I was a buyer for a mine equip mfg. and this one kid in the shop would walk around singing that song and I had to ask wtf do you keep singing and he said you've never herd that song, it's fishhead? WHAT! I said because, I hadn't herd it and he said oh! they keep playing on the radio. So sure enough later on I kept hearing that song played maybe 20 times a day it seemed back then.

Super shot on the eagle:thumbsup:

Ha! I recall the song.
Great pics.. and I'll sleep better knowing that lure was recovered!

%&%&*^*&^*&^ song is now in my head!!!:BangHead:

Nice eagle pic. I scared one out of a tree behind me this morning along the river but couldn't get any decent pics of it.

Awesome pics, but I think my favorite out of this set is the spider web. ...Then again, that's a fine eagle photo as well!

What was that you used to get the lure?

That spider web is breathtaking!

30 feet of paracord..treble hook and 2 oz. sinker.

All these are really good, but my favorite is the spider web!....Awesome photo!!

Yes! I had to review the web more closely. That is wonderful. I've never seen that much dew on a spider web before. That's what must have been what inspired the Japanese to make spheres of natural clear rock crystals that are known as "Pools of Light jewelry" that I found for sale on the road once and made some good money out of selling it on ebay for the genuine vintage piece.

Actually looking again at the fish head I think it has an artistic appeal to the eye, or so it seems to me.
