After having a horrible week last week, buying nothing and driving around for 3 hours, I was hoping this week would be better. Got out around 6, and had about 10 sales on my list. Now lets fast forward to 8 o'clock. Walk up to a sale, and see a pile of jewelry, start looking through it, find a ring and chain (.53oz) and take a bunch of costume stuff-3 bucks. Of course, the other jewelry hunter had gotten there right before me and showed me a sac with at least a half pound of sterling in it. Anyways, now I'mm happy to have something. Now its like 8:20 and I have one sale left that starts at 9. I'm driving around and see signs for another sale I was unaware about. I follow them and start looking around (keep in mind its about 2 hours after the sales been going on) and I see 4 phones on a table. I start walking over to them and some guy snatched them up, and I notice 2 droids, a Samsung, and an iPhone 4! He asks how much, and the lady says 10 each. This is when I couldn't control myself and I jumped in haha. I said "I'll give you 20 for it!" She didn't want to screw the guy over, so I told him I would give him 20 bucks for the iPhone and it'll be the easiest money he'll ever make. He said YES! I get into the car and drive a block a way and then pull over to check it out. No scratches, works PERFECTLY. Head to that sale at 9, lots of antiques clocks ect. stuff I don't really deal with because I don't know that much about it. But I ended up buying these 2 old Apple Laptops for 5 bucks. Should get 50-60 for the 2 of them on eBay. Now I am extremely satisfied. 11 o'clock rolls around, and I have to go to the bank to cash in some chance. The bank I was heading to was 20 minutes from my house, now, keeping in mind I check this area for sales and didn't see any, I wasn't expecting to stop, but saw a huge GARAGE SALE sign, so naturally I had to stop lol. Ask the lady for jewelry, she says no. I reply: "Alright, Do you think you might have any broken jewelry I could offer you some money for?". Goes into the house and comes back a few moments later with the bag. She dumps it on the table and immediately I notice a ton of silver, and non of its broken (lol). She says "awww these are cute" and takes a few items and sells me the rest of the bag for 10 bucks. 1.5oz of sterling, .3g of 14kt white gold, and a bunch of costume stuff. Very satisfied with today's picks.

Now 1 question I have, what are these marks? I've never seen these 2 marks below, any help would be great!

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Sounds like a great day! The cat earrings say Mexico 925 on one and the other is probably a makers mark which I can't make out either. The other set says sterling P. The "P" is most likely the makers mark. The iphone is awesome!

Idk what the other mark on the cat earrings are, and no clue about the p haha. Any idea on a vie for the p ones?

I can't be certain, but the other cat mark (opposite of the MEXICO925) may be the post 1979 Mexican sterling hallmark. The hallmark consists of two letters followed by a dash and some numbers. The first letter is the first initial of the city in which it was made. The second letter is the first initial of the last name of the silversmith. The numbers following the dash indicate what place the maker was, with that last name initial, to register with the specified city's assay office.

So for example, I have a pair of earrings marked TG-194 MEXICO. The "T" represents Taxco, Mexico. The G is the first initial of the maker's last name. And the "194" tells us that he was the 194th maker with a last name beginning with the letter "G" to register with Taxco's assay office.

I can't quite make out the hallmark on your piece that I'm referring to, but it does seem likely given its country of origin and the shape of the mark.

edit: Here is a picture of the hallmarks on the mentioned pair of earrings:

The P mark is an unidentified mark as far as I know, it is more than likely a Native American made piece. I believe the pink stone is rhodonite. Nice bunch of finds there.
