State Lottery's
Since Health care was so much fun, I thought perhaps we should look at the state lottery's.
I think every state now runs one, and some have even joined together for Mega lotteries. I know that when the lottery first began, the revenues were supposed to go to EDUCATION, well at least that was the concept in NYC. Now for over 30 years the state has been running these lotteries and one of the first budget cuts goes to schooling. My question is, 'What happened to the lottery money"?
It seems that our states like to spend money like a drunken sailor, no matter what the money is earmarked for.
