"State of Florida" Seal Ring Help

Hello,

I found a ring this morning. It came from an area where we have been finding '20s and '30s coins and jewelry. It has "STATE OF FLORIDA" surrounding the Florida seal. Was it a school ring? Some kind of premium? Thoughts?

florida state university grad its first "class" of 11 in 1930 * --- the ring might be a early type ""grad" ring * -- the state of florida "university"
