statue/figurine?old??? found in water in Hawaii

Found it about 5 ft in water,under sand and coral ruble about 3-5 inches deep,. In Lahaina,Maui..right next to but not in a harbour.. about 25 yeards from shore. Looks like pewter or lead.. seems to be 3 persons on a mat. 2 sitting/laying on mat facing each other. 3 rd person laying on stomach, with head hanging over end of mat. Faces have look of either oriental, tahitian,chinese,or ploynision...maybe person laying down is getting a tattoo on upper thigh? I would really like input on this "possiably historic" find. I will be taking it to experts here on Maui soon. shaka Mikey >>item is about 2 inches long<<

don't know much about your find, (hope it turns out to be something great though) but your post reminded me of an old Gilligans Island episode, "Waiting for Watubi" where the Skipper digs up the sacred Tiki god "Kona". Skipper: Whoever disturbs [Kona's] rest is cursed forever!

Hopefully there are no curses connected with your find.

Might be a decorative oxygen dispurser for a fish tank. It looks like one end is designed for a plastic tube connector.
