Well, .. after a confusing and extremely stressful 'bout with Western Union. I finally completed my scoop transaction with Ruslan in the Ukraine. As of my last email with him this afternoon at 12:00 pm my local time. My new 2V.22 EvroExcavator will be on the Big Bird tomorrow morning crossing the Atlantic, and flying into the U.S. skies to me.

I have needed a new scoop for quite a time, and I really like the way the Stavr's look. Everybody that has one of them, speaks highly of them and loves them, and I hope that I will love mine too. Thanks to RG for lettin' me vent......Man......what a pain in the butt. If I like this one, I think that I might just order a Monstrik 10 in a couple of months. But..if I do order another one, I ..WILL...go to the local WU agency and let the little girl behind the counter do the transaction for me..like I did today..In Person.

Thanks for being there RG

i have been handling all of ruslan's paypal transactions............if anyone wants to use paypal. he will verify.

Well, that's good to know. I just checked the tracking information on my 2V.22 a few minutes ago and it's here in the U.S.A and supposed to leave out of NYC tonight. I guess dealing with Western Union ain't too awful bad, if you go to an agency and deal one-on-one, face to face with a live representative. It works pretty slick that way, but I wouldn't recommend their online website service even to my worst enemy. (If I Had Any Enemies) ..And if this Excavator works out for me like I think it's going to, I will order an M-10 from him later on down the line in a couple of months, for the rougher areas that I visit.

Thanks for the FYI

It is good news that you posted that your scoop is scheduled to be on its way tonight and i was wondering how you found that out? I haven't had any change to my tracking at usps.com and I'm getting a little stressed out about it.
Thanks Greg!
All the Best,
Don

Ok...I screwed up... The tracking info reads..
Processed Through Sort Facility

Your item has been processed through our sort facility in ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) at 2:29 am on December 27, 2013.

I didn't read as closely as I should have, I assumed it would go out tonight.......That's what I get for assuming and trying to be a mail carrier..:tongue3:

I would be happy just to get mine!
The Monstrik 9 would be a nice scoop for tougher areas!

Hi Mex, I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I think the 2.22 will do almost everything that I want it to do except for a couple of really tough areas that I visit, and more than likely it will probably do those as well. In these particular areas there is a LOT of extremely hard packed damp sand, and a heavily packed broken shell layer that's about 12" thick. This layer of stuff runs laterally down the surf for a quarter of a mile or so, and the area is known to produce some really nice stuff. This is the area that I wore the point off of my aluminum RTG scoop, and bent the basket on it. It takes a very good piece of metal to take that abuse.
