I was in Amherst today visiting the Eric Carle museum...saw some beautiful children's illustrations there....OMWBH...
stopped at a Shaws and recovered a bit of change... the highlight was a 43 wheatback...was hoping it was copper but was not to be.

Thanks for viewing!
Still cool. I have my 9 yr old into Coinstar fishing and she pulled a steel penny a few weeks ago and was over the moon.

Or hoping for 44 instead. heh

Nice find I haven't seen one those pennies in years

Sure don't see them often. I found these 3 last Sept at Wally World. Posted them here and someone suggested that an internal magnet pulls them out of the dump.

Also your "S" is a filled s.... or appears to be from here.

I take it that's maybe a good thing?
Yes... this is considered an error... which gives it more value... do not rub these together in any way and dont touch the faces,,, hold only by rims... separate them... i meant to tell you this earlier.

These are prone to rust so keep in low to no humidity / water / moist enviro

Thanks. I'll make sure to do that.

Finally thought to dig out my cheap digital microscope to try to get a good shot of the S mint mark. It looks copper
colored because I had to bounce light off my hand. Looks like it should qualify as filled. Would that have a known value, or just whatever someone is willing to pay? Might the 3 as a set fetch a better price than individually?
I know nothing about selling coins.

Not much money involved here...err at least IMO... So with that said you can list on ebay starting at 9.99 auction for 7 days.
See what happens.
And yes for all 3
