I use a Canon XSI (450D), and a Canon 400mm 5.6L lens.

You can probably tell by the pictures that he is using my home made suet feeder. I cut about 3 feet out of a small limby tree and drilled some 1 1/2" holes in it. I fill the holes with suet that I make.

Thanks, Ron

This is the prettiest shade of blue I've ever seen! I'm not exaggerating either, these are awsome!!! :headbang:

Beautiful bird, fantastic shot

Pretty little thing. Great pics!

Amazing! Thanks for sharing. Old digger.

That bird is a 'beautiful blue' color, thanks for sharing.

Fossis............

Beautiful bird for sure, not sure but I think they are the ones that were stealing chips off our picnic table when the wife and I were hiking at Mt Rainier, many years ago.

Probably were the same kind. They can become quite a pest around campgrounds.

These birds are pretty intelligent also. They imitate the sounds of a lot of other birds, and other things, I even heard one outside the door meowing like a cat.

Many Thanks to ALL for your comments,

Ron
