I found a nice Sterling Silver Bracelet while looking for a lost ring in a public park. Unfortunatley the ring never turned up. I was the second person asked to look for the ring. I did manage to dig up a ton of junk in about a 20 x 20 area.

This has to be the largest piece of Sterling Silve I have ever found.

Did the first person look in the same area and if so how did they miss that honker of silver??

Congrats on the bracelet and I hope the ring turns up.

Nice chunk of silver. Was it buried or on the ground. If buried, how deep?

My friend looked for the ring, but became frustrated with all the can slaw that was playing havoc with his detector. He was looking in a much smaller area than I covered. I told him about the bracelet and where I had found it in relation to the suspected lost ring area. He indicated that he did not search out that far. Will show him what he missed, tomorrow at work. LOL

It was buried, but only just under the surface. Probably an inch or two.

It rang in as a quarter with a VDI of 87 -89. Readings were fluctuating.

Neat Bracelet. That looks like a nice malachite cabochon too.

Thanks for telling me the type of stone. I had to look it up. Sure does look like malachite cabochon. You sure seem to know your stones. Thanks for the info.
