Sterling Communion Plate, Bulova, Timex’s & Gold

In Pittsburgh for the Holidays I swung by the local flea market. Few vendors but I was able to score a few things. First was this Sterling communion plate for $5. It weighs about 3oz. View attachment 1572036 View attachment 1572037 View attachment 1572038
At another booth found this 1967 Bulova. Nice condition and running. I’m not sure of the model. but I’m checking into it. I also got two running Timex’s from the 1970’s. $3 each. View attachment 1572039 View attachment 1572040 View attachment 1572041 View attachment 1572042
I also picked up a sterling Westinghouse 5 year service award and 10kt gold Masonic pin. Pretty good haul for mediocre turn out View attachment 1572044

Here you go. The Bulova is a 1967 Sea King AK. I like find the service pins and the old screwback hatpins most of the times those are passed by the sellers and wind up being Sterling or gold nice find you got there

I like the Sea King. I thought they all had the whale on the dial.

Some do. This one did not. Very thin mono case. All watches cleaned up nice. I still need to polish the crystals.

I like the communion plate as well. Looks very old. I like the last Timex, also. It looks very sporty. Great fiends!

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1522594265.258031.jpg Me too . Killer slate grey/green starburst dial with lumed hour markers surrounded by red accents and red seconds hand. here is a picture of it after I cleaned up all the gunk on it. I still need to polish The crystal.

I agree, many small items like that get missed. Bought a small bag of earring backs not too long ago mixed in with some other jewelry I bought. about 20 of them were marked 10k and 14k. I love the old service pins too, some of them can be pretty pricey depending on the company.

That’s a great haul! No matter the size of or the amount of vendors, it only takes one to make it a great sale. Well done.
